to describe what i get from you,
except when i try my best.
perhaps a more accurate depiction of collapsed lungs
due to second-hand smoker's cough acquired by your side,
bruised skin from constant 'friendly torment' made commonplace
and a desire to show no weakness when you're simply belligerent
would say to most people: 'get out while you can'
but i am determined to unerstand,
to know the impossibility that you've become.
